  5. TSMP-PM is an add-on module to the TSMP package which is written specifically
  6. to track the preventative maintenance of each traffic signal in an assigned
  7. area. It contains schedules and a work order system for oiling and cleaning of
  8. controllers, painting of signal equipment, cleaning of lenses, and group
  9. replacement of lamps. It is an invaluable tool in managing a preventive
  10. maintenance contract on signals. It will give a progress report at any point
  11. during an allotted time period to calculate how much is done or left to be
  12. done. It also has a point system by which each intersection is rated based on
  13. how much work is found at or assigned to it. Based on reporting features of the
  14. point system, the PM manager may evaluate the efficiency of each work crew and
  15. the vehicle under command.
